We are pleased that you are with us and have decided to use the FI Reader application (hereinafter also referred to as the Application or FI Reader Application).
As you use the Application, we may process your personal data. This Privacy Policy is intended to explain the principles and scope of how we process your personal data. Its purpose is also to outline your rights and our obligations as the data controller.

Who controls your personal data?
The controller of your personal data is Farm Innovations S.A., with its registered office in Wysoka, ul. Muchoborska 18, 54-424 Wrocław, entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register kept by the District Court for Wrocław-Fabryczna in Wrocław, 6th Commercial Division of the National Court Register, under KRS number: 0001009538, NIP: 8961551900, REGON: 364650687
(hereinafter also referred to as the Company or Farm Innovations, and occasionally— for ease of reading— referred to in the first person).
What personal data do we collect in the Application?
Personal data, as defined by applicable law, means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, name, surname, address, email address, identification numbers, biometric data, as well as physical, physiological, economic, cultural, or social characteristics.
The Application has been designed in accordance with the privacy by design principle, meaning the Company seeks to limit the scope of personal data processed within the Application as much as possible. Nevertheless, when you use the Application, your personal data may be processed. Below we explain in which situations and what categories of data may be processed.
The Company does not process special categories of personal data (so-called sensitive data). With regard to all personal data processed by the Company, Users may exercise the rights granted to them under applicable law.
Does the Application collect location data?
The Application is not used to collect information about Users’ location. Such data is not collected by the Company, and therefore no personal data is processed in this regard.
The requirement to enable location services is solely related to connectivity with an external device—the reader.
What are the legal bases and purposes for processing your personal data?
The Company ensures that personal data processing carried out by Farm Innovations complies with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR).
At the time personal data is collected, the Company informs you of the legal basis for processing, whether providing the data is mandatory, and the possible consequences of failing to provide such data.
Does Farm Innovations transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA)?
Farm Innovations does not transfer any data obtained via the Application outside the European Economic Area. Consequently, your personal data is not processed outside the EEA.
Do we process personal data in an automated manner, including profiling?
In connection with the use of the Application, your personal data is not subject to profiling or automated decision-making by the Company.
How long do we store your personal data?
In accordance with Farm Innovations’ internal principles, the retention period for personal data depends on the purposes and legal bases for processing.
Different retention periods apply to data processed for contact purposes and data processed in connection with contracts, legal obligations, or rights. When determining retention periods, we consider factors such as tax obligations, financial settlements, and limitation periods for claims.
Taking the above into account, the standard data retention period is 6 years and 12 months, calculated from January 1 of the year following the year in which the data was created, collected, or the cooperation (contract) ended—whichever occurs later.

Who has access to your data?
In line with our policy, we do not share, sell, or exchange your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
What rights do you have in connection with personal data processing?
If your personal data is processed by the Company, you are entitled to exercise the rights provided under the GDPR, including in particular:
- Right of access – to obtain information about your personal data being processed
- Right to rectification – to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Right to erasure – to request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal limitations)
- Right to restriction of processing
- Right to object – to processing based on the Company’s legitimate interest, including profiling and direct marketing
- Right to withdraw consent – at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal
What can you do if your data is processed unlawfully?
If you believe that your personal data is being processed unlawfully, please inform us so we can address the issue. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
Updates to this Privacy Policy and final provisions
The Company may update this Privacy Policy in the future. The most current version will always be available in the Application. Users will be informed of any changes, including changes to processing purposes or scope.
